It’s a moment goes down in football folklore — for all the wrong (but absolutely brilliant) reasons.
Exactly 10 years ago, on the 3rd of April, former player-turned-commentator Chris Kamara failed to spot a red card while reporting back to the Sky Sports studio in a classic television scene that instantly went viral — even back in 2010.

On hand to provide regular updates during Portsmouth’s draw with Blackburn in the Premier League, the man known simply as ‘Kammy’ clearly wasn’t paying attention when Anthony Vanden Borre was given his marching orders by the referee.
Crossing live to Kamara, Sky host Jeff Stelling said: “We’re off to Fratton Park where there has been a red card, but for who Chris Kamara?”
The rest is history.
“I don’t know Jeff has there,” Kamara said while looking around frantically.
“I must have missed that. Was there a red card?”

Stelling, along with football pundits Matt Le Tissier, Paul Merson, Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson, couldn’t contain their laughter from the Sky Sports studio.
When asked by Stelling what had happened exactly, Kamara chuckled: “I don’t know, Jeff.”
“I saw him go off but I thought they were brining a substitute on.”
Even 10 years on, this moment is still iconic.
But Kamara’s live gaffes don’t stop there, either.
The now-62-year-old once called his colleague Stelling “Carly” during another live cross.
Kammy once got distracted by a pigeon at West Ham’s old stadium Upton Park too — when he was meant to be providing a score update at half-time.
